Our brief from Sturt Noble Associates required a multi-play unit that catered to 2 to 12 years.
An inviting and dynamic custom-designed play unit from our partner Spiel-Bau was chosen for the recently upgraded Rockdale Park playground by Bayside Council.
Two existing pieces – a toddler play unit and a tower for older children – were tailored to suit the exacting design requirements by the landscape architect.
The two units are connected via a balancing rope specifically created to challenge older children. The smaller unit connects to the pathway via an accessible ramp, which also houses interactive play pieces.
The view from the peak of the taller tower provides a great reward for adventurous climbers.
