Shaded by stunning She-oak trees, Elwood Playspace sits alongside the Lady Forster Kindergarten. In collaboration with Port Philip Council the space incorporates our partner Lappset’s most popular multi-activity tower, the Goblins Forest. The tower is from the Flora nature play range and it settles smoothly into the beautiful environment of the trees and nearby beach.
Goblin’s Forest is a multifunctional piece of playground equipment with many options that develop children’s motor skills and is suitable for climbers of different levels. It includes two 1,470 mm high covered towers that can be reached by a climbing wall, a climbing ramp, a peg ladder or a normal ladder. Access from one tower to the other is by balancing on a rung bridge or a zig-zag bridge. A long slide provides an exciting way to exit the tower. The fact that the various climbing sections are organised in the form of routes provides diverse forms of exercise and fosters children’s imaginations. To complement the space a large basket swing frame with two swing seats was also included.
