Our collaboration with Waverley Council has seen the completion of Council’s upgrade of Barracluff Park, breathing new life into this much loved green space.
The park is the first inclusive play space to be fully upgraded by Council since the adoption of the Inclusive Play Study 2020 which provides a strategy for inclusive play spaces where everyone can play, regardless of their age or ability.
The new large scale inclusive playground revolves around our custom designed and built play tower with slides, climbing nets, fireman’s pole, musical instruments, and puzzles, from our partner Spiel-Bau. Created to incorporate views over the sports court, the tower is also designed to promote accessibility.
A variety of complimentary play items from our partner Lappset encourage multiple age groups to play together and include a swing set with a toddler’s swing and basket swing, seesaw, springer rockers, group spinner and toddler size cubby with slide.
